Denmark

FIC's activities in Denmark are concentrated on social and labour market conditions. Typically, It will be educational projects targeted at people on the fringes of the labour market, who need training to either remain in the job or be qualified to get a job.

Among the projects, including educational projects for companies, whose employees need new skills and activation projects for unemployed, particularly people with ethnic minority background.

FIC is also keeping abreast of current social issues related to the labour market. Through information activities, including exhibitions, study tours, seminars, conferences and street meetings, we communicate knowledge about social problems in Denmark, Europe and globally. An important and recurring theme is unemployment among young people and minorities.
